Why we started
ORÉYA began with a small frustration. Jewelry that looked beautiful in a photograph and gave up in a week. Colour that faded at the first wash. A clasp that failed by the second month. Pieces bought with excitement and quietly retired to a drawer.
So we set a different standard. Every piece has to survive the way it is actually worn; the commute, the office, the gym bag, the wash basin, the Dubai heat. If it cannot hold up, it does not make the edit.
We are a small team in Dubai. We add slowly, only when a piece earns its place, and we stand behind everything we send out.
What your piece is made of
The base is 316L surgical-grade stainless steel. Gold and rose gold tones are 18K gold PVD plating, bonded to the steel under vacuum rather than dipped; that bond is why the colour holds through daily wear.
It is hypoallergenic and water-resistant, so it can stay on through hand washing, the gym and an ordinary day.
And what it is not: this is not solid gold, and we will never call it that. It is jewelry built to be worn every day, at a price that lets you actually wear it.
Before it reaches you
Every arrival is checked by hand on five points before it goes on sale: weight and heft, clasp and mechanism, plating and finish, skin-contact comfort, and water resistance. Anything that fails goes back. Nothing ships because it photographs well.
